How MiltonCart text messaging works, and how to start or stop it.

This page describes the text-message (SMS) program operated by MiltonCart.co LLC, operating as Milton Cart Co and doing business as MiltonCart. MiltonCart provides golf cart rentals and mobile lithium battery installation services in Milton, North Carolina and the Virginia International Raceway area.

MiltonCart does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

This program sends transactional and customer-care messages only, to people who asked for them.

What messages you may receive

MiltonCart does not send promotions, advertisements, sweepstakes, lead-generation messages, affiliate traffic, or bulk broadcasts through this program, and does not message purchased or rented phone lists.

How to opt in

There are two ways to start receiving messages, and both require you to act first.

1. Check the optional consent box on a MiltonCart form

Every MiltonCart form that collects a phone number presents a separate SMS consent checkbox. The box is unchecked by default, it is never pre-selected, and it is not required. You can submit any of these forms without checking it, and MiltonCart will not send you application-initiated texts if you leave it unchecked.

This is the exact wording shown next to the checkbox on those forms:

“By checking this box, I agree to receive transactional and customer-care text messages from MiltonCart about reservation confirmations, scheduling, payment links, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.”

If you check the box and submit the form, you will receive a one-time confirmation message:

Milton Cart Co: You're subscribed to transactional and customer-care texts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

2. Text us first

You may start a conversation by texting (336) 223-4774 directly. We will reply to your question. Texting us does not enroll you in recurring notifications; that only happens if you check the consent box on one of the forms above.

How to opt out — STOP

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation and then no further messages:

Milton Cart Co: You're unsubscribed and will receive no further text messages. Reply START to resubscribe.

You may also opt out by calling (336) 223-4774 or emailing reservations@miltoncart.co. If you opt out and later want messages again, reply START or check the consent box on a MiltonCart form.

How to get help — HELP

Reply HELP to any message and you will receive:

Consent is optional

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services from MiltonCart. You can book a golf cart, request a lithium battery quote, and contact us without ever agreeing to receive texts.

Your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

MiltonCart records the source URL, the disclosure wording shown, and the date and time of each consent so that opt-in can be verified. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Carriers and delivery

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
