This Privacy Policy applies to MiltonCart and MiltonCart.co LLC (collectively, “MiltonCart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including miltoncart.co, our reservation services, and communications with us.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you request a quote, contact us, make or manage a reservation, sign a rental agreement, or complete a payment. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, reservation dates and times, cart quantity, delivery or pickup details, special instructions, referral or venue information, agreement acceptance and signature, payment status and transaction identifiers, and your communications with us.
Our website and service providers may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, and records needed for security, fraud prevention, and reliable operation.
How we use information
We use information to provide quotes; check availability; create, fulfill, modify, and support reservations; prepare and retain rental agreements; process payments; send reservation confirmations, scheduling notices, payment links, and service updates; respond to questions; prevent fraud; maintain security; comply with law; and improve our services.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed by payment providers such as Stripe. MiltonCart does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. We use service providers for website hosting, reservation storage, agreement generation and storage, payment processing, email, text-message delivery, analytics, security, and customer support. These providers may process information only to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by law.
Mobile messaging privacy
Mobile opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be processed by service providers and messaging aggregators solely to support message delivery, routing, security, compliance, and related customer-care operations. Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
If you opt in, MiltonCart may send transactional and customer-care texts about reservation confirmations, scheduling, payment links, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers described above, with a venue or referral partner when needed to fulfill a partner-attributed reservation, with professional advisers, to comply with legal obligations, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain reservation and agreement records, resolve disputes, meet tax, accounting, legal, and compliance requirements, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or ask questions about our practices, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date.
